I started my first business with $20 to my name.
For years, I tried and failed at running my own businesses. I had the hustle. I had ideas. I had the work ethic to outwork anyone.
What I didn't have was the tools.
I watched competitors with worse service win jobs because they had a professional website. Because they had someone answering calls while they were on a job site. Because they could afford professional marketing.
I knew I was providing more value. I just couldn't sell myself. And I couldn't afford to hire someone who could.

So I built Flowstate. Not because I saw a "market opportunity." Not because some VC told me to. Because I remember what it felt like to lose a job to someone who wasn't better than me — just better funded.

This isn't a startup built from market research. It's built from years of losing to people with more resources and swearing I'd fix it someday.
