What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it.
How We Use Cookies
Essential Cookies
These are required for Flowstate to work. They handle authentication, session management, and security (like CSRF protection). You can't opt out of these — without them, you can't log in.
Analytics Cookies
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how people use Flowstate. These only load after you accept cookies. They collect anonymous usage data — pages visited, load times, and general interaction patterns. No personal information is tracked.
Preference Cookies
We use localStorage (similar to cookies) to remember your preferences like sidebar state, theme settings, and whether you've completed onboarding steps. These stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.
Third-Party Cookies
Stripe (our payment processor) may set cookies when you interact with payment forms. These are necessary for secure payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
Managing Cookies
When you first visit Flowstate, we show a cookie banner. You can:
- Accept — enables analytics cookies
- Maybe Later — analytics stay disabled until you accept
You can also clear cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that clearing essential cookies will log you out.
